I spend a lot of time in Ocala National Forest looking for wildlife to photograph. It is annoying the amount of trash that is discarded in the forest. It is common to see beer cans and water bottles, food wrappers, but also larger debris, like car tires, mattresses, burned out boats, and construction debris. When I heard about this car, I had to  go see it for myself. This rusting, bullet-riddled car chassis has purportedly been abandoned in the ONF for over a year. It seems so out of place in that beautiful setting. It makes you wonder who thought it was okay to leave a car there. And it also makes you wonder why it has remained there for so long. Often times I make art because I find something beautiful. In this case, I made a thought-thoght-provoking photo of a car littering a beautiful part of Florida,

The "found" object is the subject of my photograph, an abandoned and rusting car in Ocala National Forest, a car that has been purportedly in the woods for over a year.
